Our Life Cycle Cremains Encased in Glass Cremation Sculpture is a beautiful handmade sculpture consisting of two hand-blown glass turtles over Manzanita burl accented with artificial plants. The third turtle with egg is a pendant and contains the cremains. The cremains are seen on the bottom of the turtle in a clear window. The egg is where the turtle sleeps when not being worn as a pendant. The result is a breathtaking memorial of your loved one. This sculpture is popular as a memorial representing more than one person or pet. Each turtle can have separate cremains. You have the option to have the artist sign your loved ones name on the back of the turtle in 22k gold. Note: Grave site soil can be used in place of ashes.
The symbolism associated with turtles include longevity, strength, courage, knowledge, security, tenacity, persistence, and innocence. They are symbols of immortality and are considered the temporary dwelling space for souls making their way through a series of lives on their path to heaven.
NOTE: Our glass keepsakes are handmade and may vary slightly in color and shape from the pictures shown.
