Bronze plaques can be used for memorials, dedications, achievements, or any other recognition. Plaques can include nine lines of text in a variety of fonts and can also include graphics.
If you have a service or ceremony before your cast bronze plaque is to be shipped (typical turnaround time is 4-6 weeks), you can choose to order a temporary plaque. It will be the same size as your forged plaque (up to a maximum of 11 inches per side) and will be laser engraved with the same information (see inset image). It will typically ship in 2-3 business days. Made of Flexi Brass, an acrylic material with peel-n-stick 3M backing which makes for easy mounting to almost any flat smooth clean surface (woods, metals, plastics, marble, cultured marble, etc.).
Note: This temporary plaque has 'dark' lettering and border with a 'light' background (see inset image), which is the reverse of a cast bronze plaque which has bronze lettering and border with a dark background.

Production Process and Turnaround Time - 4-6 weeks after proof approval
Step 1. Layout and Proof Creation
A designer will organize your text and artwork and create a digital proof for you in approximately 2-4 business days. The proof is then sent to you via email for your review and approval. Step 2. Production and Casting of the Bronze Plaque
Once you approve the proof via reply email, your plaque artwork will be converted to a higher resolution and sent to the foundry for production and casting. Production time can vary but is generally 4-6 weeks. Your finished cast bronze plaque is then shipped to you from the foundry. What is casting?
A mold of sand or clay is created from the digital artwork. Molten bronze is then poured into the cast, cooled and solidified. The result is one-piece bronze plaque that is then painted with special paints, finished, and shipped.
